Branscum Construction Company and its subsidiary, Precision Erection Company held their 35th Annual Christmas Dinner and Awards Banquet on December 2, 2011, at the Russell County Auditorium and Natatorium.   The evening began with a warm welcome to all of the associates from Stephen Branscum, who has been hosting this dinner for over 35 years in appreciation of all the companies' associates.  During the annual dinner, the 2011 Associate of the Year was announced, this associate is nominated by his or her peers based on their overall performance.  Also, acknowledged during the dinner were associates with five, ten, fifteen and twenty-five years of service. A Safety Award was given to recognize associates' safety record and there was also an acknowledgment of projects qualifying for Building for Excellence in 2011. 

Mr. Chris Hudgins of Greensburg, KY, was presented with the Building for Excellence Associate of the Year Award, which is the highest honor that can be bestowed on an associate in the Branscum Organization.  Chris has been with Branscum Construction since 1995 and has 16 years of construction experience and currently is the Superintendent for the First Baptist Church Christian Life Center.   Company President, Stephen Branscum said, "Chris is a "10" in all respects, striving for excellence in everything he does both professionally and personally."

The following associates were recognized as Honorable Mentions for the Associate of the Year Award.  Joyce Barnes of Russell Springs, Al Carbajal of Liberty, Pam Eysenbach of Russell Springs, Mike Franklin of Campbellsville and Jim Rock of Edmonton.

Branscum Construction and Precision Erection Company were proud to honor so many associates for their many years of service completed in 2011.  The following associates were recognized for five years of service were Josh Branscum of Russell Springs, Jim Rock of Edmonton, Iginio Perez of Liberty and Scott Owens of Russell Springs.   Acknowledged for ten years of service were Vincent Johnson of Russell Springs, Juan Rodrigues of Liberty, and Jimmy Anderson of Russell Springs and Vernardo Valencia of Hustonville.  Rick Brown was distinguished for fifteen years of service.  For Twenty-five years of service, Steve Foley of Columbia was recognized.
