Branscum Construction Company and Precision Erection Company held their 35th Annual Christmas Celebration and Awards Banquet on December 7, 2012. This year's celebration began with a warm welcome from Steve Branscum to all of the associates. During the luncheon, Branscum Construction and Precision Erection Company were proud to honor so many associates for their many years of service completed in 2012. Recognized for five years of service was Erick Estrada. Acknowledged for ten years of service were Josh Branscum, Jim Gilbert, and Fernardo Salomon. The fifteen-year recipient was Greg Owens and the twenty-year recipient was Joyce Barnes and Pam Eysenbach. Receiving twenty-five-year service award were Donnie Hale and Johnny Beaty. There were 2 associates; Terry Loy and Steve Branscum acknowledged for their thirty-five years of service with an anniversary watch. Both Terry and Steve have been with the company since it was established in 1977.
The 2012 Building for Excellence Associate of the Year Award is a very serious and honorable recognition of an associate's overall performance. This associate is a role model and leader to all of their co-workers. Each year all associates submit a nominee for this award based on their Loyalty, Attitude, Safety, Ability, and Quality of Work. This year's winner was Jim Rock, who has over 44 years of construction experience and has been with Branscum Construction for almost 7 years. Jim is currently the Superintendent for the Liberty Elementary School Renovation.
Along with the Associate of the Year Award, there were five associates that were recognized as Honorable Mentions; Neal Bradshaw, Al Carbajal, Pam Eysenbach, Vince Johnson and Fernando Saloman.
