The Boyle County Middle School opened to students at the end of September 2020, while the work continued on the Center for the Performing Arts.  The 500 seat cultural and performing art theater is in the last stage of construction.  The theater was built with an  astonishing exterior 65 foot tall concrete wall, that allowed for a fly loft above the stage.  The Center for  the Performing Arts includes a lobby, vestibule, bathrooms, (2) dressing rooms, scenery storage room and a green room.

The middle school is two-story, 122,000 square feet with open and flexible instructional spaces for 900 students. There is non-traditional learning media center that has the warm comfortable and welcoming feel. A beautiful exterior court yard and there is a robust network infrastructure to support technology in the classrooms.

The New Boyle County Middle School & Center for Performing Arts is a state-of-the-art Middle School.  The Branscum Team for this Landmark Project was Jonathan Smith, Project Manager, Chris Hudgins and Ronnie Carter, Project Superintendent.  The architect is Clotfelter Samokar.
