President
Josh Branscum has grown up in the company watching his father Stephen Branscum start and nurture the family construction business. Branscum began his career with Branscum Construction Company on the Russell Springs Elementary School project as a laborer, working and learning under the direction of Branscum’s Senior Superintendents. He continued working in the field while he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication at Georgetown College (’05) and Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management at Eastern Kentucky University (’07).
After graduation, Branscum joined Branscum Construction’s MED (Marketing, Estimating & Design) Department and oversaw all areas of Project Development. He was later promoted into the role of Business Development Director and managed business relations and project acquisitions.
As President, Branscum will continue to be involved in pre-construction services; however, he will now have a greater role in the overall management of the company. “I am honored and grateful for this opportunity,” said Branscum. “I’m very energized about the team we have put together at Branscum Construction. We have a perfect mix of veterans and those who are younger in the industry. This has made for a great environment for learning, sharing of ideas and outside the box thinking. We have always provided our clients with value, diversity and strength.”
