Organized on March 23, 2001, by current CEO Paul Breckinridge "Breck" Jones, US WorldMeds holds true to our founder's original vision to become a substantial global operating enterprise while remaining closely-held and able to capitalize on local and experienced talent. US WorldMeds remains committed to continuing to expand into a major corporate citizen and a formidable source of innovative pharmaceutical products and high-quality jobs for generations to come - both in our Louisville headquarters and our satellite offices and manufacturing facilities.

While starting at home and planting deep roots may have been our founding principles, US WorldMeds' mission now stretches far beyond city, state or national borders. US WorldMeds continually strives to identify specialty products for niche patient groups and increase access to those treatments across the globe. The company has built a platform for success on two primary strengths: sound science and targeted commercialization.

To fulfill its mission, US WorldMeds will strive to seek well-positioned strategic partnerships; asset divestitures and acquisition or licensing opportunities to expand our portfolio; and to open doors to new domestic and international markets, all to create greater access to care for the patients we serve.
