Branscum Construction Company and Precision Erection Company held their 39tth Annual Christmas Celebration and Awards Banquet on December 4, 2015.   This year's celebration began with a warm welcome from Steve Branscum to all of the associates.  Our Branscum family celebrated with a great lunch together and fellowship followed by the presentation of awards for years of service and recognition of the Associate of the Year at the First Baptist Church in Russell Springs, KY.  

Branscum Construction and Precision Erection Company were proud to honor many associates for their many Years of Service completed in 2015.  Recognized for ten years of service were Neal Bradshaw, Marco Gonzales, Eduardo Gonzales, and Iginio Perez.  Acknowledged for fifteen years of service was Luis Inestroza and Billy Stearns.  The twenty-year recipients of the gold anniversary ring were Chris Hudgins and James Murphy.  Also acknowledged were 18 associates with over 20 years of service.

The new 57,461 sqft Taylor County Primary Center is on schedule to be completed for the 2016 - 2017 school year.

The US WorldMeds is entering into Phase II of the project.  This phase will consist of the interior construction of the new office space on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors and miscellaneous improvements in the lower level.  Branscum Construction was the successful bidders of this phase and are honored to be able to see this project to completion.

Branscum Construction Company and Precision Erection Company held their 38th Annual Christmas Celebration and Awards Banquet on December 5, 2014, at the Russell Springs First Baptist Fellowship Hall.  This year's celebration began with a warm welcome from Steve Branscum to all of the associates.  Our Branscum family had a great lunch together and fellowship followed by the presentation of awards for years of service and recognition of the Associate of the Year.

Branscum Construction and Precision Erection Company were proud to honor many associates for their many years of service completed in 2014.  Recognized for fifteen years of service was Al Carbajal.  Acknowledged twenty years of service and recipients of the gold anniversary ring were Jack Glenn and David Mann. Jeff Cook was honored for his 25 years of service.

$11 -15 Million AGC Build Kentucky Award
Adair County Primary Center
Columbia, KY

On Friday, April 11th, AGC of Kentucky presented Branscum Construction Company, Adair County Board of Education and Sherman Carter and Barnhart with the "2013 Build Kentucky Award" for their "Excellence in Building" for the Adair County Primary Center Project at the 24th Annual Associated General Contractors of Kentucky Awards and Dinner.  This Award is presented in recognition of the Commonwealth's most prestigious projects that stand out due to their excellence in construction, project management, innovative design, state-of-the-art advancements and their positive impact on the community and the environment. 

Accepting the "Build Kentucky" Award on behalf of Branscum Construction for the construction of the Adair County Primary Center were Terry Loy, Senior Superintendent, and Josh Branscum.  Superintendent Alan Reed and Board Chairman Floyd Burton, Board Member Joe Payne and Principle Patty Jones accepted the award on behalf of the owner, Adair County Board of Education.  Accepting the award for Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects were Gabe Jones and Michael Smith. 

Superintendent Reed said Adair County students will benefit greatly from the new facility.  He noted that the entire community had rallied around replacing two old facilities in an attempt to save money through energy efficiency and modernization while completing a very worth-while district consolidation.   Reed also commended both Branscum Construction and Sherman-Carter-Barnhart for meeting very tight construction timelines without sacrificing quality. 

Branscum Construction was extremely honored to be recognized and be presented the "Build Kentucky" Award.  The Branscum Construction Team approached this project from beginning to end with their Core Values in mind; continuous customer focus, effective management, relentless drive for improvement, respect for their people, teamwork and commitment to safety. 2013 Build Kentucky Award

Whitley County Board of Education held a Ground Breaking Ceremony on March 11th, 2014 for the new Pleasant View Elementary School.  With shovels in hand and hardhats on the Whitley County Board Members, Pleasant View Staff, some students, Construction Managers Branscum Construction and Architectural Firm Ross Tarrant posed for pictures then tossed the first dirt to officially begin the construction of the new Pleasant View Elementary School.

Larry Lambdin, Whitley County Board Member Chairman addressed the crowd who were on hand to help celebrate the official start of construction for the new Pleasant View Elementary School.  Chair Lambdin spoke about how the new school will aid students with the educational opportunity to achieve their life dreams to become doctors, lawyers, teachers or even a principal.

The new Pleasant View Elementary School will be finished and ready for students the start of the school year in August 2015.  The new school will be constructed directly behind the current school building that was originally constructed in 1938.  Once the new Pleasant View Elementary is completed the old school will be demolished.  Throughout the duration of the construction special steps will be in place to protect the students and the community.

Branscum Construction Company and Precision Erection Company held their 37th Annual Christmas Celebration and Awards Banquet on December 13, 2013.   This year's celebration began with a warm welcome from Steve Branscum to all of the associates.  Our Branscum family a great lunch together and fellowship followed by the presentation of awards for years of service and recognition of the Associate of the Year. 

Branscum Construction and Precision Erection Company were proud to honor many associates for their many years of service completed in 2013.  Recognized for five years of service were Barry Atchley, Michelle Pettey, Neal Reeder, and Victor Gonzales.  Acknowledged for ten years of service was Lannie Fields.  The twenty-year recipients of the gold anniversary ring were Sandra Honaker, Timothy Stephens, Jonathan Smith, and Carl Stephens. Dale Meece was honored for his 30 years of service.  Additionally, Larry McGowan was recognized for their thirty-five years of service and was presented with an anniversary watch.
