Branscum Construction was selected to build the new Toyota of Ashland for Mike Ayers and Clay Green of Ashland Associates. This is the second project for Branscum Construction with the Green family. The first was Infinity of Lexington which was completed in 2016.

The new 25,873 square foot dealership will consist of a showroom, business/sales area, service area, service receiving area, second-floor break room & conference area. The second floor has 4,834 square feet that includes the business area and parts room area. The project is progressing and excepted to be completed in late spring 2019.

On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, Boyle County Board of Education, staff, students and community leaders gathered along Cunningham Drive to break ceremonial ground on the new Boyle County Middle School.  The occasion marked the beginning of the district's first building project since 1977.

Jennifer Newby, Chairperson of the Board of Education, expressed her gratitude to attendees noting, "A strong school district is built on community partners who are actively engaged in providing transformative opportunities for our students."  Newby continued, "With your ongoing support, Boyle County Schools will continue to foster a culture of excellence that maximizes every child's potential."

The two-story, 122,000 square-foot middle school will feature open and flexible instructional spaces for 900 students; a collaborative learning media center; a 500-seat cultural and performing arts theater; a 900-seat gymnasium; a state-of-the-art kitchen and a robust network infrastructure to support technology in the classroom.

"Our vision is to create spaces for future learning, designed around collaborative and personalized learning," said Superintendent Mike LaFavers.  "We are a student-centered school district and this middle school will give us flexible spaces to leverage new instructional strategies, like team-teaching and inquiry-based learning, that engage kids right where they are."

Branscum - W. Rogers was selected to manage the $33.0 million construction project while the architect firm of Clotfelter-Samokar led the design process. 

Construction is scheduled to begin the first week of February, with the new middle school opening in August of 2019.

Branscum-W. Rogers was selected by the Boyle County Board of Education on December 8th, 2017 to build a new middle school. This landmark project contains 134,000 square feet and includes a state of the art auditorium. Construction will start immediately and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2019.

Superintendent Mike LaFavers was quoted as saying "They were the low bidder and they've got a strong reputation."

Branscum-W. Rogers is excited about this opportunity and looks forward to providing a one of a kind project for the children and staff of the new Boyle County Middle School.

Branscum Construction has started work on a design-build renovation and addition for Fibrotex USA in (McCreary County) Stearns, KY. The new facility will consist of a 28,000 sqft renovation with a 53,250 sqft pre-engineered metal building expansion. This will give Fibrotex a total of a 81,250 sqft facility.

The new state-of-the-art facility is being established next to Outdoor Venture Corporation, which is a strategic partner to Fibrotex USA and already designs modular personnel and command post tents for the Army.

Fibrotex USA has been awarded a contract with the US Army to manufacture Ultra-Light Camouflage Netting System (ULCANS). ULCANS will be an all-weather, state-of-the-art signature concealment system that provides multi-spectral protection for troops and equipment.

On Tuesday, August 28, 2018 the ground was broken for construction of the Lake Cumberland Regional College & Workforce Center in Russell County. Branscum Construction is building the facility designed by Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects.

2017 Building for Excellence Associate of the Year Award was presented this year to Mr. Vince Johnson, during the annual Christmas celebration lunch on December 8th, 2017.  The Branscum organization bestows this honorable recognition based upon an associate's overall performance.  He was nominated by his co-associates using the following criteria for selection: Loyalty, Attitude, Effort, Ability, and Quality of Work.  Vince has been acknowledged many times as one of the five Honorable Mentions.  Vince is the company's equipment manager and mechanic and joined the Branscum Construction family in 2001.  He is a huge asset for the entire company with his commitment to the company, willingness to go in a different direction every day, always ready to lend a hand and always giving his all.    

Also recognized for their dedication and hard work as this year's five Honorable Mentions; John Burton, Steve Foley, Michelle Pettey, Billy Stearns, Vernardo Valencia.  These individuals were also nominated by their peers for their excellence in the industry.

Branscum Construction Company and Precision Erection Company held their 41st Annual Christmas Celebration and Awards Banquet on December 8th, 2017.   This year's celebration was held at the First Baptist Church in Russell Springs.  Steve Branscum kicked off our annual associate's Christmas celebration by welcoming all past and current Branscum and Precision associates. 

Neal Bradshaw addressed the associates and spoke on the importance of safety on the job sites.  He then presented as a small token of appreciation for all field associates working hard on keeping Safety a Top Priority, a Safety Rain Jacket.

Our Branscum/Precision family then celebrated Christmas with a delicious lunch together and fellowship followed by the presentation of awards for years of service and recognition of the Associate of the Year.
